Includes several letters from Miller to his wife, Mary, along with letters from Miller's brother, Clay, and Schuyler Colfax, who served as U.S. Vice President from 1869-1873. Includes a drawing of Miller at the Battle of Liberty Gap, telegrams, funeral invitations for public officials, an invoice, a receipt, a stock holdings statement, calling cards, handbills, and photocopies of newspaper clippings.
